DESCRIPTION:Join us on January 18 from 11AM to Midnight for lunch BBQ plates\, corn hole\, horseshoes\, and washers tournaments\, live music and dancing\, and a silent and live auction. Funds raised will purchase more plaques for Veterans' names to be installed on the walls at the Smithville Veterans Memorial Park. \n\n\n\nAnd please help us collect the names of other veterans who should be installed on the walls of honor.\n\n\n\nHosted by: the Partners of the Veterans Memorial Park\, the American Legion Post 180\, the Smithville Area Chamber of Commerce\, and City of Smithville.\n\n\n\nVeterans or family members will need to submit a copy of the veteran's DD-214 (please scratch out the social security number) before January 31\, 2020 to be able to be on the plaques installed by Memorial Day. To obtain a DD-214\, log on to www.archives.gov.
