Spark Your Imagination Exhibit

The Bastrop County Historical Society is excited to introduce a vibrant new interactive exhibit, developed in partnership with Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative, exploring the science and history of electricity in Bastrop County.

Designed with young learners and families in mind, the exhibit invites visitors to discover how electricity has shaped everyday life both in the past and today. In addition to these historical displays, the exhibit features hands-on interactive stations where children can engage with simple electrical devices and learn basic principles of electricity in a fun and accessible way. Through play and exploration, young visitors are encouraged to ask questions, experiment, and better understand the power that connects their world.
