What’s could be more fun than catching a new favorite singer-songwriter from the Austin scene making their debut on the Bugle Boy stage? That’s easy: Two of them, sharing the experience together! Roxi Copland, originally from Aberdeen, Washington, is a multi-award-winning singer, songwriter, pianist, and banjoist whose innovative sound is forged at the crossroads of Americana, roots, and jazz. She has performed at over a thousand events across U.S., Canada, and Europe, and opened for such prominent national and international acts as Esperanza Spalding, Vanessa Carlton, the Manhattan Transfer, Marcia Ball, and Ray Benson of Asleep at the Wheel. Her latest release, I Come From Crazy, was called “Refreshingly honest” by Americana UK, and lauded by Americana Highways for its “sassy swagger.” Katrina Cain first caught national attention on NBC’s The Voice with a knockout version of Stevie Nicks’ “Rhiannon,” but it was her 2024 Gold EP that introduced her as a fearless songwriter with compelling stories of her own to sing. Though born in Dallas and now based in Austin, she was raised across many state lines and grew up without a hometown, and that search for belonging runs deep through her songwriting. Her sound captures the raw truth of Americana with the polished grit of modern country.
