Make plans to be in Smithville Texas for the 33rd Annual Festival of Lights our theme this year is "Polar Express" in Smithville!
It will be a day full of fun and activities including pictures with Santa, food, vendors and much more! 40,000lbs of real snow will be blown that morning in preparation for snow tubing and friendly snow ball throwing in the kid zone!
Plus, you don't want to miss the Indoor Arts & Crafts Expo at the Rec Center, the famous Ann Powell Express train will be providing complimentary rides throughout the day and we will end the evening with our Lighted Holiday Parade!
Here is the schedule:
The day starts at 9:00am with shopping!
9AM - 4PM
Outdoor vendors will setup along Main Street, and the vendors for the Indoor Arts & Craft Show will be at the Rec center. (Train rides to the Rec Center and back to Main will be going on throughout the day)
9AM - 5PM
Snow Tubing and Friendly Snow Ball Fights with 40,000lbs of Real Snow in the Kid Zone (next to the chamber office and gazebo), Enjoy Food, Free Pictures with Santa and more!
10AM - 4PM
Story Time with the Smithville Public Library
Stop by the Prizer Gallery located at 212 Main Street to enjoy Story Times with Judy Bergeron at 11AM, 1PM, and 3PM. Stop by for some quiet time, read a book, or just take a break between 10AM-4PM.
10AM - 12PM and 3 - 5PM
Free Pictures with Santa at the Gazebo

Lighting of the Gazebo & Art Contest Winners will be announced
